Friends of the Chicago River
Friends of the Chicago River is a nonprofit dedicated to improving the health, accessibility, and long‑term vitality of the Chicago River system through collaboration with local partners and communities. When the organization needed marketing materials to promote its rental space and events, I was brought in to develop a suite of print and digital assets that extended and strengthened their established brand.
Working within their existing color palette and visual system, I incorporated elements from their logo and selected impactful imagery from their photo library—enhancing each asset through careful color correction and retouching in Photoshop to ensure clarity and visual cohesion. I then crafted layouts in InDesign and Photoshop with a focus on readability, hierarchy, and clean, consistent design. The result was a set of materials that supported their mission, elevated their communications, and reinforced a unified brand presence across channels.
